Album Chart Modification

Hello there!

I have the following suggestion which might be interesting to some listeneres. If I have an album A which has 11 songs and another B with 15 songs and I play the A album 4 times (equal to 44 plays) and the B album 3 times (equal to 45 plays) in the chart the B album will be more played than the A album. But I have played the A album 4 times and I think that the whole album is played more than the B album. I hope you understand what I mean, cause I'm Bulgarian and I'm not sure about some parts of my sentence. So...

Can it be made so that the chart shows the albums also as up to now and as [songs played] / [tracks in album] depending on user's choice in the settings? Cause I've noticed that you keep the number of tracks per album in the database and as a beginner programmer I think it is not so difficult to be done.

I also think the album chart needs to be improved a little, because it is not representing correctly the most played albums but also only the albums played with the most tracks on it. I would take the playing time of an album for the calculation. Therefore say, a Tangerine Dream album with only 2 tracks but a playing time of i.e.45 minutes would be slightly higher rated than the nice Beatles LP with 13 tracks but only 40 minutes time. Still not perfect (who would rate the Beatles lower than TD :-) but at least it tells you correctly how much time you are listening to which album.

This is also a good idea and holds some water. It is another point of view about how a person thinks when comparing the listening of albums. So it can be made as a third option in the settings menu.
