Can anybody tell me what Cynic played before The Space for This when I got there?

Overall a great gig. I've seen Opeth 7 times now and I don't think they where quite on top form for this show. I went to see them again last night in Bristol and they were back to their absolute stunning best for that show. Setlist was slightly different as well - they didn't play Bleak in Bristol - think that was the only change but not 100% on that one.

Opeth's setlist: Heir Apparent Grand Conjuration Godhead Lament Lotus Eater Bleak Hope Leaves Deliverence Demon of the Fall Encore: Drapery Falls It took me so long to get the list; the roadies blanked us for about 10 minutes before the guards finally gave in and took them off stage.

@noodleplugerine: i'm pretty sure is was Hope Leaves

anyone remember the ocean's setlist?

I was mainly there for Cynic, but was pleasently suprised by Opeth's performance actually, nice setlist too. What song was it where Fredrik did the incredible solo? Was it during the quiet bit in Drapery falls or during hope leaves?

opeth were excellent. The ocean were a pleasant surprise , but the sound was very muddy. As for cynic , not too impressed considering the reputation. Overall a good night.

what was good was that i was about average height, and i am over 6 foot

I only caught the last few songs of cynic and all of Opeth. Both bands were amazing, though Opeth were definitely the better for me. Just chuffed that they played Godhead, was not expecting that at all.

hmm, I thought Cynic were better, wasn't feeling Opeth too much.

Cynic would have been perfect if Paul's guitar had been louder, but I feel Opeth were missing something in their performance and played a mostly bland setlist.

went there saw cynic and left. Opeth bores me to tears live. Cynic were brilliant. i thought the sound was a litlle bit fragile, but i was happy. The new album is amazing, shame they didn't play more from Focus.

Deliverance made my night great gig. Anyone got the full setlist?

The ocean im fairly indifferent to, they did little for me, cynic made me want to go up on stage and punch them, but hey if we all like the same things life would be damned dull!

Have to say the Ocean were a nice surprise, even though I only saw their last few songs. Cynic were fantastic to say the least, and Opeth were what I expected - Godheads Lament was awesome.

Great night. Cynic where great, would have liked more from focus though. The Ocean where a nice suprise. But opeth where nothing short of amazing! Four Favorites in a row - Heir Apparent, The Grand Conjuration,The Lotus Eater(was the best track of the night for me) and Godhead Lament.
